The Creation Botswana program has concluded its run with a final masterclass and roundtable, focusing on strategies for success in the international fashion market. The event featured renowned experts Jean-Marc, and celebrated South African designers Rich Mnisi and Lukhanyo Mdingi.
Throughout its duration, Creation Botswana conducted a national rollout, engaging fashion entrepreneurs across the country, and supported two cohorts of designers: emerging and established.
The program’s initiatives included a South African learning expedition, connecting participants with leading creatives and institutions like Lukhanyo Mdingi, Thebe Magugu, and David Tlale. It also hosted impactful masterclasses from experts such as Tamburai Chirume, Bonolo Molome, Annette Pringle-Kolsch, and Nelly Wandji, along with last month’s session, “Lessons from the Field: From Story to Strategy,” by Emilie Gambade and Emmanuelle Courrèges.
These engagements have empowered 28 designers, significantly benefiting Botswana’s fashion industry
