Gaborone car show is coming
A DECADE OF DRIVING DREAMS: The Gaborone Motor Show turns ten
The air in Gaborone is thick with anticipation as the Gaborone Motor Show celebrates its tenth anniversary. Set to be hosted from September 5th to 6th, 2025, at The Fields Mall, this year’s event promises a world-class automotive experience.
It feels like just yesterday car fanatics were watching the first show, and in the blink of an eye, a decade has passed. We’re getting ready to put the pedal to the metal on this year’s festivities.

As the legendary Carroll Shelby once said, “There’s no such thing as a bad car, only a bad driver.” At the Gaborone Motor Show, you’ll find nothing but the best, from the sleek and sporty to the rugged and reliable. The show is packed with high-octane excitement, a testament to the energy and innovation that drives the automotive industry forward.
For the first time, the show introduces the Prestige Lounge, an exclusive sanctuary designed for VIPs to relax, network, and take a load off. It’s a chance to rub elbows with fellow enthusiasts and business leaders in a more intimate setting. As Jim Rohn wisely said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
The show features an incredible lineup of exhibitors, including veterans like Suzuki – Gaborone and newcomers like Star Chery Botswana. We’re also thrilled to welcome back Haval and GWM, bringing their popular SUVs and rugged bakkies. They say that “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” and the same is true for a world-class motor show. These partnerships are the result of years of hard work and dedication.
The Gaborone Motor Show is a family-friendly event, which is why it has been declared an alcohol-free event. This is a rule that is set in stone, and there will be no exceptions. We are all on the same team in this regard. “We’re also proud to announce our partnership with WAYS Car Rentals Gaborone, the official car rental and supercar display partner, who will be bringing an even bigger and better display this year.”
The hype is real, and it’s no longer a pipe dream. As Oscar Wilde reminds us, “The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.” Don’t resist the temptation to attend the Gaborone Motor Show.
The countdown is on, and the time for talking is almost over. “The secret of getting ahead is getting started,” as said by Mark Twain. It’s as easy as pie to get your tickets and join in on the fun. “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm,” said Ralph Waldo Emerson, and the Gaborone Motor Show has enthusiasm in spades. This event is a cut above the rest, and it is here to stay.
